Real Developers
Wednesday, March 03, 2010
RealUp is the free commercial real estate website that is especially usefull for real estate developers. Thousands of commercial developers benefit from our free industry data and services.

According to Wikipedia, real estate developers are the coordinators of the activities that help convert ideas on paper into real property.

Commercial real estate development is a multifaceted business, encompassing activities that range from the renovation and re-lease of existing buildings to the purchase of raw land and the sale of improved parcels to others.

Developers buy land, finance real estate deals, build or initiate the building of projects and orchestrate the process of development from beginning to end. Typically, developers purchase a tract of land, determine how to market the property, develop the building plan and design, obtain approval and financing, build the structure, lease, manage, and ultimately sell.

Developers work side-by-side with architects, city planners, engineers, surveyors, inspectors, contractors, leasing agents and more. Out of this mix, developers usually take the greatest risk in the creation or renovation of real estate but they ultimately receive the greatest rewards.

Because real estate developers serve as the intermediary between multiple third party providers and have a hand in the entire development process, they are able to benefit from RealUp's services and data on multiple levels.

Whether it is searching for properties to buy or lease, researching sales comps and demographics, locating third party service providers or eventually selling or leasing a finished project, commercial real estate developers can find all of the tools they need to be successful on RealUp.

There's An App For That...
Thursday, February 25, 2010
RealUp has become an Official iPhone App Developer! We are currently working with TouchCentric to create an app that will nicely complement our great website.

The RealUp app will be free of charge, just like many of the other great services that our company provides its users. This mobile app will take advantage of the iPhone interface and functionality to create a unique search experience for our users.

The app is currently in the testing phase, meaning that the basic application is built and we must now make sure that all of the functions work properly. This will ensure that we are delivering the best tool possible for our mobile RealUp users.

Once through the testing phase, we will begin distribution within iTunes so that any iPhone or iPod Touch user can download and start using our mobile app immediately. This just another value that RealUp is adding for our commercial real estate professionals.

Naturally, as with any app, we will constantly be examining our users needs so that we can continue to deliver the functions to make our app number one for commercial real estate. And don't worry Android and Blackberry users, more apps are on the way soon.

So, keep an eye out for our official release date, and in the mean time make sure that you are getting the exposure you need to sell your industrial, multifamily, or other commercial property by listing and advertising with RealUp.com!
