All the News That Fits

RealUp is a proud advertiser in the New York Times!

The New York Times Online offers a unique Self-Service Advertising program that allows advertisers to create customized pay-per-impression (CPM) ad campaigns online.

As a website, we already spend a large portion of our advertising budget on online advertising through Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, Business.com and others.

With the start of the New Year, we thought we would seize the opportunity to start advertising in one of the most renowned newspapers in the world, the New York Times.

Our campaign on www.NYTimes.com is slightly different than other pay-per-click ads we are running, in that we have actual banner/display ads instead of simple text ads rotating through the Business pages of the Times. Banner ads or display ads are great for building brand awareness for RealUp.

We were thinking outside of the box when designing our Leaderboard ad which is a mock-up of our property search bar. With this ad, we hope to entice visitors to click on the ad which will direct them to the actual commercial property listing search on our website.

With our New York Times campaigns now active, we have all of our tracking in place to be able to successfully monitor the traffic we get from this legendary newspaper. We are excited and honored to be a part of the New York Times!

Deck of Cards

Friday, October 02, 2009
Going to a large convention like ICSC RECon or the CCIM & IREM Success Series makes a person really appreciate their business cards. These little 2" by 3 ½" cards can really make a difference!

Business cards are a staple of any networking event. They have the name of the person, organization, a logo and contact information. Of course, our business cards also come with our URL, www.RealUp.com.

The style of a business card can give you an idea of the personality of a company. A linen, black and white card can denote a very serious company, but doesn't have a lot of "fun factor." Our cards have all the colors of our logo and a lot of shine. We're a bright new company with bright new cards.

We ordered our business cards from VistaPrint, a national online print-on-demand service. VistaPrint is the first result to come up on a Google search for business cards and have very reasonable prices. Our cards have a glossy finish with foil and we ended up being very satisfied. In fact, we can't wait to give them all away and order new business cards.

What's your favorite networking event? Let us know and maybe we'll see you there - just remember to bring along a business card!

RealUp Launches New Commercial Real Estate Information Website

Monday, May 18, 2009
RALEIGH, NC (May 18, 2009) -- RealUp, a new commercial real estate information company announces the official launch of its beta website at www.RealUp.com. The company, a subsidiary of TerraServer.com, Inc., offers commercial real estate professionals free memberships, unlimited free searching, free recent sales comparables, free lending quotes and interactive listings. The RealUp beta site was officially unveiled at the ICSC RECon convention in Las Vegas on May 17, 2009.

"RealUp's ultimate goal is to be the leading website in information, technology and marketing for commercial real estate professionals," said Brian Randy Funk, President of RealUp. "In a tough economy where commercial real estate has a long road to recovery, RealUp will provide a low-cost alternative for industry professionals."

One of the most exciting ways RealUp is serving the commercial real estate community is by providing free recent sales comparables to all of its members. RealUp knows that recent sales data is expensive but valuable information to their clients which is why the company has heavily invested in acquiring this data. RealUp has partnered with MDA DataQuick, one of the top real estate data providers in the country, in order to provide the highest quality transaction data. The recent sales comps are updated continually to provide up-to-date and accurate comparables. Memberships to RealUp are free, so there is no cost associated with acquiring the data.

Unlike most other commercial real estate listing sites, all of RealUp's interactive listings are free to search with no registration required. Massey Knakal, TCN Worldwide, Hart Corporation, and Sperry Van Ness are among the top commercial real estate firms that are already listing with RealUp. Each listing can contain unlimited photos, detailed descriptions, attachments, demographics, mapping, and more. Members can quickly and easily update and enhance their listings at any time for no additional cost.

Users can also take advantage of up-to-date financial information including current interest rates, treasury yields and even do personal calculations with mortgage calculators. Users can fill out the lending quote form and submit the details of a particular property to receive free financing quotes. RealUp's exclusive lending partner, Capital Development, LLC, will respond with a financing quote or loan pre-approval as well as expert recommendations within two business days.

About RealUp
